cancer – day 71

Another fun day hanging out in Vegas, we rode the roller coaster at New York New York, which is AWESOME!!! And we went up the Stratosphere to look out over Vegas from 110 stories up, that’s quite a site. It’s amazing (and ridiculous) how much Las Vegas has changed even just since I started going there. I remember all these old casinos that are gone, and I’ve seen most of the bigger newer casinos when they were in the construction process. Tonight we went to a Cirque du Soleil show that was, of course, amazing.

I haven’t been thinking about the cancer too much, but it’s never completely out of my mind. Every time I thought about how much fun we were having an how great it was that we could go on this little weekend trip for Mark’s birthday, I would also remember that the reason I didn’t book it until the week before his birthday was because I was supposed to have been in chemotherapy and not allowed to travel right now.
