Cielem’el Meaning
Cielem’el means “the sky’s the limit,” and is a philosophy of life as well as an organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring people facing life-threatening and emotionally destructive challenges.
Linguistically, “Cielem’el” is composed of three key elements:
- ciel ~ French for sky; from the Latin caelum, used by the Romans
to refer to the earth’s sky and to the heavens - em ~ a kind of roof
- el ~ elevation, especially elevation of a celestial object
Therefore, “Cielem’el” has several possible linguistic interpretations, including:
- the top of the sky or heavens
- the high roof of the sky
- the sky is the ceiling
- the far reaches of the heavens
