100% mask-wearing reduces coronavirus transmission by NINETY-EIGHT-POINT-FIVE PERCENT

I got the transmission probabilities below from Thom Hartmann’s podcast; I believe the stats are from an infection diseases doctor in Washington state.

When two people meet, where one person is carrying COVID-19 and one person is not . . .
– If the COVID-19 carrier does NOT wear a mask and the non-carrier does wear a mask, the probability of transmission is 70%.
– If the COVID-19 carrier wears a mask and the non-carrier does not wear a mask, the probability of transmission is only 5%. That’s if ONLY the COVID-19 carrier wears a mask.
– If BOTH the COVID-19 carrier AND the non-carrier wear masks, THE PROBABILITY OF TRANSMISSION IS 1.5%.

In other words, everyone wearing masks could save practically everyone.

Case in point, Japan. If you don’t know how well they have stifled coronavirus, look it up, get informed, and become a responsible human being.
