cancer – day 49

Friday the 13th. 😉

The usual, I was up at 5:30AM, well, 2:30AM really, but I finally got out of bed at 5:30AM. I do like the quiet of the early morning, but I’d still rather be sleeping until the sun has actually risen. After a busy morning of conference calls, with my back sore from sitting at the dining room table to work, I was glad to get out at lunch. We found a desk, well, table, today at IKEA. I’d never been to IKEA before Mark took me, it’s crazy! Buying furniture in a row of checkout stands like a huge Wal-Mart or something. The “desk” we got was really easy to put together though, and now I have a workspace at the back of the house.

It feels like more stitch is sticking out of the end of the surgery incision again, it’s prickly. I hope it doesn’t get irritated tomorrow with the workshops with Oscar & Georgina. And hopefully my arm gets a lot better so I can be led.

Then again, it would be nice to save a little money and get some rest tomorrow, and I’m not positive yet that we’re going to the workshops. But we’re both definitely overdue for some exercise . . . Mark’s cold has held on longer and it seems like we haven’t done any dancing in forever because one or the other of us was too sick.

Oh, this is neat, today we found a “widget” tool to add to my blog so that if I’m online people can instant message me from my blog site, how neat is that? I don’t want to clutter up my blog pages with lots of junk, but that one was fun to find and add on.
