cancer – day 470
There isn’t a whole lot else to report on the family vacation. Mostly we just played with the kids, played on the boat, had meals, and that just pretty much ate up the time out there. No one’s cell phones worked, and there was no internet service, so we were really out there in the boondocks eight miles past the middle of nowhere. And when you head that direction in Minnesota, lo and behold, you end up at a lake!
Today we left the lake house to go to Minneapolis. I had to pick up the cats at the kennel, but then I caught up with the family at the Hockey Hall of Fame. We ended up at a motel in Bloomington with a big pool which was great for the kids. Hannah stayed up really late watching a movie with Dad and I, and then I had to go to my nasty-smelling pets-are-only-allowed-in-smoking-rooms room at the other end of the building around the corner at the end of another long hallway. Ugh, nastiest smelling hallway I’ve walked through in months.
