cancer – day 26

WhooHoo! Going to Cell Space in San Francisco with Mark to tango tonight! Apparently no one except Mark and my parents can tell from looking at me that I’m ill or in any pain (everyone at the board meeting Tuesday night, and also my surgeon on Monday, kept commenting that I look great . . . gotta love what a little makeup and a smile can hide, eh?), so I’ll have to be careful who I dance with and tell them to take it easy on my right arm and watch out for how tightly they embrace, but I am still sooooo excited to be going to Cell Space again. I don’t think I’ve been out there even once since the cancer diagnosis. Then again, we only found out about the cancer 26 days ago, so it hasn’t really been that long since I went to Cell Space, but honestly, it seems like the last four weeks or so of my life have actually contained several months worth of experiences and emotions, you know?
