cancer – day 212

It’s late, about midnight, and we just got back from San Francisco. We went down this evening so Mark could meet this bandoneon player and talk to him about what to look for in purchasing the instrument. We also did just a smidge of dancing. Mark didn’t really learn anything new from the guy, but now he has another contact who lives in Buenos Aires and travels back and forth that is interested in helping him find a bandoneon. Coming back we were having the same conversation again, though, about savings versus spending, because he also needs to buy a new car right now, and bandoneons are darned expensive instruments, as much or more than a used car for a good one. Anyway, it was a short trip to the City and back after dinner.

The day was generally relaxing, we played World of Warcraft with a couple of guys from Mark’s work. I need to work on my mage’s crowd controls skills. 🙂
