cancer – day 208

The surgery went fine today, except that I had some internal bleeding afterward so it got more swollen and painful than they would have hoped. Boy, am I ever tired of hearing medical people use the word “hope.”

The bigger problem is that I’ve spent my evening heaving my insides out from the anesthesia. I’m trying to drink lots of water, but man, I can’t even keep that down. Ugh.
