cancer – day 156
I’m so sorry. I know there are all these people keeping up with my blog and yet I can’t seem to stay awake long enough for anything these days or be coordinated enough to think and, say, type at the same time. It’s driving me batty. I made dinner tonight (it wasn’t particularly good, though Mark complimented it), but the whole process completely exhausted me. Completely. Bad idea.
And there’s all these things I want to think about and start planning, like how much or when I can work again or dance or how long it’s going to take to be able to think through the fog of chemo brain or fatigue so bad most of the time I’m lucky just to be holding my balance upright instead of keeling over every time I stand up, and having to hold on to things to sit down. Like a very frail very very old woman. It’s not looking good. We’re hoping I’ll have some recovery by week 4, which is still three weeks from now. Frail, ancient old woman.
