cancer – day 132
Ugh, new unpleasant development, not sure what kind of side effect to call this, but I’m developing a gag reflex to swallowing. Exacerbated by swallowing anything non-liquid, i.e., pills. More fun on the Miller Merry-Go-Round.
On the up side, with sooooo many pills to take, about all I have time to do and think about is managing that schedule and staying on it with which pills to take when, which pills require food, etc., etc. I sleep a lot and haven’t had a lot of the esophagus and intestinal pain I was having in earlier rounds of chemo, which means the additional meds are helping somehow. Though I think I can tolerate a little of that pain to get some tiny percentage of my brain power and energy back. But what drug to reduce to achieve that? I see a phone call to an oncologist coming on . . .
