cancer – day 380
I want to write, honestly I do. But I’m so tired. Short version of the day is that I missed my alarm at 4:30AM, made the drive to Sac in 70 minutes, was ten minutes late meeting Susan at her nursing facility, walked a mile from parking to registration, wandered almost hopelessly for 40 minutes trying to find Susan, then suddenly saw her paratransit pull up, pushed her wheelchair up to the starting area with 60 seconds to spare before the start, can’t believe how much my hands hurt pushing the wheelchair uphill for 30 yards, spent an hour with Susan afterward giving her water and feeding her a banana and chatting about family & stuff, walked a mile back to the car, almost fell asleep on the drive home, let the cats out, napped in the hammock ten minutes until Seoul meowed wondering where I was, then dozed on the couch through the afternoon with zero energy to even make anything to eat, with a headache, feeling brain dead.
I know I’ll feel good about it later, but right now I’m just too tired to care about anything.
