cancer – day 220

I keep thinking it’s getting to be time to stop the blog. It seems like all I do is complain and bemoan my situation and I don’t think I really have much of interest to tell everyone on a daily basis anymore, not like when I was in the early stages after the cancer diagnosis or during chemo when every day was something different. There’s the whole “emotional journey” thing for other cancer patients, but honestly, that’s getting to be too difficult to write about in and of itself all the time.

Radiation is constant and monotonous (aside from the developing burn). My radiation oncologist said that’s part of the reason people get fatigued by it, because it’s draining to keep going through this treatment regime day after day week after week. I think being in pain all the time is what’s been so fatiguing. So, nap time it is.
