Bloody weekend on County roads.
Four killed, many wounded in rash of car crashes in last two days.

Four people were killed and more than a dozen injured in a rash of traffic crashes in the County over a two-day period. On Saturday, October 19, at about 10 p.m., a San Mateo man, identified by the County Coroner’s Office as 30 year-old Arthur Grant, died when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Highway 101 south of San Francisco International airport.

According to the California highway patrol, a driver of a 1985 Lincoln lost control of her car while entering southbound highway 101 near San Bruno Avenue. The car spun around across the southbound lanes directly in Grant’s path. Grant was throw off the cycle and was struck and dragged by two other cars whose drivers did not see him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
