cancer – day 75

You know, I don’t know how she does that. I called my parents from the lobby of the doctor’s office yesterday and gave my mom an update during the drive home (Mark was driving, we have this new “hands free” law about cell phones in CA). And she of course spent a couple hours then returned calls to all of our family and her friends that have been asking about my treatment. Then, about two hours later, she called me back, just to see how I was doing. I didn’t even expect to feel any shock or additional stress from the chemo recommendation. How did she know I was going to have a little period in a funk and know to call me again to make sure I was doing ok with the news?
