cancer – day 143

This is so cool. One of my old friends in San Jose whom I haven’t seen in at least a couple years was in an all-weekend event run/walk for the cure last weekend, it was a 3-day Susan G. Koman thing. They do these rather intense run/walk events 10K+, some multi-day, all to raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer. And, this is so cool, Cathy even put my name as one of the four people she was walking for. I’m posting a photo of her shirt on my blog. What a neat thing to do! She’s getting me even more excited about the American Cancer Society walk that Chaingang is doing in October . . .
